Product Care and Information

Your product is finished with the best products available to give it a tough life long finish.  All products are polished to a high gloss or luster finish to give years of enjoyment and care free service.

Should your product ever become dirty or soiled, please follow these instructions when caring for your item:

Cleaning

Remove all loose dirt with a clean soft cotton cloth.  I recommend an old clean t-shirt or lint free polishing cloth.   DO NOT use any abrasive cloths or cleaning pads.   These items will damage the finish on your product.  To remove tougher debris,  use a mild soap and water solution to removed finger prints and other grime.   DO NOT use any harsh cleaning solutions or volatile liquids.  These too will damage the finish on your product.

Gently rub the product in a circular motion always rotating the cloth to expose a clean surface to the finish.  Avoid continued use of  built up soil on the cleaning cloth surface.  If you are uncertain about what to use,  test first in an inconspicuous location that will not detour from the products presentation.

Waxing and Polishing

All products have been polished with carnauba wax before you receive it.  Carnauba wax is one of the most durable waxes available that repels water.  However, if you wish to spruce up the luster or gloss on your product, please follow the cleaning instructions above before applying any wax.

I recommend any brand of carnauba paste wax that does not use any distillates.  My preference is Howard's' Citrus-Shield Premium Natural paste wax.  It contains natural orange oil and carnauba wax.  Carnauba wax should be applied in very thin coats.  Apply wax using a clean soft cotton cloth using a circular motion to a small area at a time.  Allow to time to dry for about 10 minutes or until a haze develops and buff with a new clean cloth.  Always rotate the cloth to expose a clean surface to the finish.
